How to prepare

A smooth, frothy cup of Hojicha.

Step 1

Measure

Add about 1 teaspoon of powder to a bowl or cup.

Step 2

Add a little water

Pour in about 2 oz of water at around 175°F — not boiling.

Step 3

Whisk

Whisk briskly until smooth and frothy, with no lumps.

Step 4

Top up

Add hot water for a tea, or steamed milk for a latte. Great iced too.
